(picture of me) Hello readers my name is Bernard Mac Donagh I was born in Co. Dublin on the 20th of December 2000 to Alan and Janet Mac Donagh, I have two older siblings the first born, is my brother, Alan jr and the second, is my sister, Lauren who is a doctor and I have a pet dog, a cocker spaniel named Rio. This will be my second Year at TU Dublin Blanchardstown, the course that I am doing is Creative Digital Media. My goal is to learn the different methods of design from video to poster to games. I feel like this year is going to be a bit more difficult that last year due to me us having to do everything online but once I get into a routine it will get less hard over time. When I graduate from collage I am hoping to use the skills that I  have acquired in TU Dublin to to get a job as a graphic designer designing posters and logos. prototype

The prototype of my game,"Shrunk" is going well, I was able to find premade furniture in the asset store that was free as well as textures so it made my life much easier when it came to making the environment for my game, a lab. I have also managed to acquire a character model to use for the player to control. Nothing has fallen through the floor yet so I am hope full that I will not experience any problems while making my game but unity can be vary tricky. I well be taking pits a pieces from past tutorials in order to make this work. However I have bean having some problems with the lighting but I believe I have fixed it. I also feel I will have to abandon a few of aspects like the coin collection in order to focuses on the core macanices of the game such as jumping and triggers but I am hoping to keep the timer. Testing Techniques an ecental part of game design is testing to see if the game works how you wish it to and to find any bugs or glitches before it is relisted as that can cause complaints from the customers. There are may different ways to test a game the seven that I know of are as fallow. Functionality Testing : this is  done to confirm whether the end product works following the specifications. Functionality QA testers mainly hunt for the generic problems within the game or its graphics & user interface, such as game asset integrity, stability issues, audio-visual issues, and game mechanic issues Combinatorial Testing :  this way you can effortlessly test the game rapidly in its earliest stages. Initially, the initial step is to discover how much testing your game necessitates.
